September 2007 News

 H-2B deadline is September 30

Without the H-2B repeat-worker exemption, expiring September 30, 2007, there will be upwards of 140,000 less workers nationwide among industries that use the H-2B program. The green industry needs Congress to pass the “Save our Small and Seasonal Businesses Act of 2007” to prevent this dire scenario from becoming a reality. Write your legislators in minutes with the help of PLANET’s new
H-2B Toolkit.
